Mur

Kraków, Poland, 2013
One of the most famous places in Krakow, the old city walls in the north of the old town, now it's being used to sell paints of almost whatever you can imagine. With the right light, a vague scene can always look particular.

Podgórze

Kraków, Poland, 2013
I had the chance to discover a forgotten district in Kraków... Podgórze. Known especially for what it was used to be in the war. Now it seems like any other district in any other city, but of course, you can always feel in the air the sadness of it. Podgórze was were the Jewish ghetto was placed by the Nazis back in the war.

Bohaterów

Kraków, Poland, 2012
Plac Bohaterów Ghetta means Square of Ghetto's Heroes in Polish. The old ghetto was in this area in war times and all the jews departing to different concentration camps were gathered here before getting on the trains. The chairs represent the objects many of them had to leave before departing.

Pigeons

Krakow,  Poland, 2013
This is Podgórze, an interesting district in Kraków where the old Jewish ghetto used to be in WWII.
The church is St. Joseph church and it's quite impressive. This day was pretty cold and the square in front of the church was full of pigeons, I managed to take a picture while they were flying away...
