Relax

Toledo, Spain, 2010
Time to relax on a beautiful afternoon in the main square of Toledo, such a particular town over a hill in Spain, really close to Madrid... if you ever get the chance to go to Madrid, don't miss this wonderful spot.

Concentrated

Plaza del Sol, Madrid, 2010
This kid was concentrated watching some street music band playing in Plaza del Sol. He wasn't quite smiling but he wasn't serious, he just seemed concentrated following the rhythm of the music. He looks like an adult...

Color

Catedral de la Almudena, Madrid, 2010
This is an old picture of my trip to Madrid that I did last year... while I was reviewing them, I noticed how my photography has changed over the months... I don't know if I have improved or not, but my pictures are kinda different. I guess I'm looking at things slightly different now...

Superga

Superga, Torino, 2011
The Basilica of Superga is a beautiful and very well known church in Turin. The most common thing you hear about it is the plane crash that happened on the 4th May 1949 with the Torino Football Club, also known as Il Grande Torino, where all of the passengers unfortunately died.

Doomed

Bratislava, Slovakia, 2011
Bratislava has a very nice big size chess in the middle of a square which the name I cannot recall, but it's in front of the US embassy. Anyways, this guy was playing against a friend and they played kinda fast to be a gigantic chessboard, at the end I don't know who won but this guy was playing with such confidence that I had to take a picture.

reflection

Marguareis, Italia, 2011
Marguareis is a mountain in the Alta Valle Pesio e Tenaro natural park in Piedmont, Italy. It has a bunch of itineraries and paths to cover, with beautiful sight views in the middle of the valley mountains. I took this picture on an area with a small lake surrounded with snow in the summer, which was quite amazing.

Elder steps

Lyon, 2011
Lyon has a wonderful riverfront to walk and enjoy the view of the city. You get to see a lot of people walking by or cycling... not to forget the beautiful color of the river Rhone. This elder was walking through the riverfront very very slow with a paused rhythm, a funny face and the sandals with a suit. It makes him a very interesting subject.

Il Po

Po, Torino, 2011
This is the Po river, the longest river that goes through Italy... starts at Piemont and ends at Veneto. This is the view of the river from piazza Vittorio Veneto to the church Gran Madre...

Baba

Piazza Carlo Alberto, Torino, 2011
Torino is full of drinkable water fountains, so people always go there to refresh themselves... like this little girl that was thirsty after driving her bike in the middle of the square...

Train station

Sturovo, 2011
Sturovo is a small city on the border between Slovakia and Hungary, small east european cities seem to have been stuck in time, since a lot of things look old, like this train station.

Sleep

Budapest, 2011
When you're tired you're able to sleep in any strange position and actually in any strange condition... Actually if you look closer it doesn't seem so uncomfortable... well, sucks to sleep in the middle of the street.

freedom

Skansen, Stockholm, 2011
I don't like zoos 'cause they're so sad, but when I went to Skansen, one of the biggest open museums in the world, I didn't know they had animals in the inside... these monkeys were looking outside the window like craving their freedom, and this is one of the reasons I believe zoos are so sad.

Bridge

Stary most, Bratislava, 2011
This is the oldest bridge over the Danubio, the Old Bridge. It was severely damaged after the WWII and when Bratislava was freed by the Red Army, some German prisoners and Russian soldiers rebuilt the bridge. The bridge hasn't changed since because of the lack of funds. When you walk trough it you get the feeling of how old is it. It's like traveling to the war years.
